NHRA CHASSIS CERTIFICATION

Date: CANCELLED

ATTENTION MEDICINE HAT AB AREA RACERS:
Due to there not being any improvement regarding the Covid-19 virus crisis, the decision has been made to cancel the Medicine Hat AB Chassis Inspection Seminar at this time, which was originally scheduled for Saturday April 4th at Spider Electric. At this time and in light of recent changes to NHRA’s Chassis Inspection Process (see below), this event will likely not be rescheduled. Please refer to the official NHRA information posted below.
Hopefully the Covid-19 situation will subside early enough for the NHRA Drag Racing season to proceed which would allow racers to have chassis inspections performed at events. Anyone that has questions or concerns can call the NHRA Division 6 Tech Line @ 306-262-6472. Thank you in advance for your understanding. Practice social distancing and self isolate or work from home if you are able to. Stay safe and wishing everyone good health.

UPDATE:WE ARE OPEN

UPDATE

Guidance

AHS Revokes Compliance

As of now MHDRA operations will be on hold until further notice.

On May 14 AHS Dr Deena Hinshaw signed off on Appendix A Order
18-2020 and 19-2020 outlining complete closures of Recreational or Entertainment Business which we fall under the Racing Entertainment Centers even though we did comply with the outdoor recreation criteria. Although we do not know the details yet outlining the new category, as more info is released we will do our best to meet the new standards. Our plan is to get talking to the Government and AHS officials to see how we can get all Motorsport facilities open and a set of guidelines for us.
We will update as soon as we get more info on when we can open, in the meantime we will get all our protocols posted shortly

Thanks
MHDRA Executive.
